Established in 2006 as Austere Tactics, our institute has evolved into a premier training facility with a global reach. Initially catering to law enforcement and military organizations both in the United States and internationally, including countries such as Morocco, Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Ghana, and Niger, we have since expanded our focus to meet the growing demand for civilian training. In 2011, recognizing the increasing need for civilian-oriented programs, we shifted our focus to offer specialized training in civilian guard force operations, tactical medicine, and close protection agent training. Our commitment to excellence has been unwavering, ensuring that our students receive the highest quality education and preparation for their roles in the security industry.
In 2019, the Security Institute of America (SIA) proudly separated from Austere Tactics, which later became ARC Initiatives. This strategic move allowed SIA to concentrate exclusively on providing cutting-edge training and certifications to an international audience. Our dedication lies in incorporating the latest knowledge and industry best practices, making them readily available to emerging markets. Our core training programs cover Guard Services, Close Protection, Tactical Operations, and Tactical Medicine.
